Terms & Conditions
1. CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING
A written or verbal confirmation from the client to proceed with the booking will be subject to acceptance of our quotation and terms and conditions.
2. PRICING
All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT which will be charged at the current rate according to legislation. Where prices have been quoted are for a specific number of guests, any changes in numbers will affect the menu price. Final numbers should be confirmed fourteen days prior to the event after which time any decrease in numbers cannot be accepted and the full charge will be payable. Clients who have ongoing accounts for business catering are required to provide 2 full working days notice of cancellation after this time the client will be charged in full for the order amount.
3. PAYMENT
A 10 % non refundable deposit will be required upon booking to secure the date. A further 40% will be required 2 weeks prior to the event with the final numbers and menu choices. All deposits are non refundable and should the event be cancelled within 48 hours of the event the full booking charge will be payable. The remainder of the balance shall be due on the night of the event.
We are able to receive payment either by cash, cheque, or debit card. We are able to receive payment by credit card however a 2.5% charge will be levied against the payment received.
For corporate clients who use our services on a regular basis we are happy to open an account where we will look for payment within 14 days of an invoice being issued. We are able to receive BACS payment if this is the system in which the company operates.
4. MENUS
Our food is freshly prepared with the best ingredients however we reserve the right to substitute menu items due to Market condition and fluctuation. We will endeavour to discuss any changes with the client as much as possible.
5. EQUIPMENT HIRE
Crockery, cutlery, glasses and table linens are available for hire. The client is responsible for any loss or damage to hired equipment.
No responsibility can be accepted for injury caused by the use of equipment hire.
Waiting staff hired at an event will be responsible for all clearing and packing of equipment provided by us. If none of our staff have been engaged, hired equipment should be scraped clean and left packed for collection.
6. STAFF FEES
Where staff fees are applicable, the quotation provided will be based on the estimated length of time staff are required. Where events extend beyond the estimated time an additional charge will be made at the appropriate hourly rate.
7. INSURANCE
The client is strongly advised to take out full insurance cover for the event and particularly for any breakage, damage or loss of hired equipment as no claim can be accepted by the Company.
8. FORCE MAJEURE
We shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to provide the service as a result of any act or circumstance beyond the Company's control.
